In 2025, the Fraternity conveyed charters on three chapters that returned to campus. Each of these re-chartered chapters is a cause for celebration on its own. But this marks more than just planting our flag on an individual campus or two or three. Re-chartering these chapters is part of the Fraternity’s commitment to becoming the largest and best fraternity on every campus where the SigEp flag is planted. Re-establishing these chapters means SigEp is accessible to even more young men — providing them the opportunity to experience our Fraternity’s life-changing brotherhood.
Every successful SigEp chapter began with a group of men willing to step forward, take ownership and build a foundation future generations will inherit. A successful charter is something to take pride in. It represents years of consistent effort, leadership, sacrifice and belief in something bigger than ourselves.
Here, we highlight a few of the achievements that helped these chapters earn their charters.
Texas Mu,
Texas A&M
Chartered Sept. 20, 2025
The brothers of Texas Mu at Texas A&M quickly made their mark on campus by redefining what a fraternity can look like on one of the country’s biggest campuses. Since their founding in fall 2022, the men of Texas Mu have built a powerful presence, recruiting 54 men in their first semester and growing to over 100 members in just a few short years. Through largescale, community-wide events and a commitment to philanthropy, personal growth and excellence in member development, these brothers have created a SigEp experience unlike any other on campus.
Indiana Alpha,
Purdue
Chartered March 28, 2025
Since returning to campus, the brothers of Indiana Alpha at Purdue have demonstrated a steady commitment to growth and continuous improvement. From reimagining their member development program to reinvigorating their SigEp Learning Community programming, chapter leaders are focused on providing a balanced, values-driven experience for all members. Supported by strong academics, involvement across a broad range of social clubs and professional organizations, and a new chapter home completed in 2025, these men have laid a foundation for a stronger brotherhood and future.
New Jersey Beta,
Rutgers
Chartered Oct. 17, 2025
The brothers of New Jersey Beta have made their mark on campus since returning to Rutgers in the spring of 2022. Now, with 55 men and counting, the chapter has revamped its member development experience and the Balanced Man Scholarship. It’s helped them stand out from other organizations and attract the majority of brothers currently in the chapter. New Jersey Beta’s volunteers have also played an influential role, inspiring a “never settle” attitude that encourages brothers to uplift and remind each other that every situation presents an opportunity to learn and grow.
